Using the Gift Registry module could not be easier. Using a handheld unit, a customer can scan their desired items and then return the device to a sales clerk. The clerk records the customer’s general information and downloads the product information. When someone wishes to purchase a gift off a registry list, the list and purchase activity can be printed for review.
At the end of the process, the gift receiver can get a reconciled account of gift givers and items so they can write thank-you notes.
